It's January and the hatchling turtles are emerging from their eggs and making their way down the beach for their first swim in the ocean and the beginning of their long lives.

See this incredible spectacle of nature first hand at Mon Repos, one of Bundaberg's major attractions and one of Australia's most important natural attractions.

The Mon Repos Conservation Park, within the Southern Great Barrier Reef, supports the largest concentration of nesting marine turtles on the Eastern Australian mainland and has the most significant Loggerhead turtle nesting population in the South Pacific.

Book now and secure a spot to see this natural wonder.

Learn all about these amazing animals at the centre, and experience a unique turtle encounter like no other place in the world.

Take a guided tour between November and March to watch the nesting, and during January through to March see the turtles hatch.

For more information on the experience, visit the centre’s website.
